My path to specializing in prenatal and postpartum fitness coaching? It's deeply personal! After welcoming my daughter in 2021, it hit me – there was a real lack of clear, trustworthy info out there about exercising safely and effectively during and after pregnancy. Even with my 5+ years as a CrossFit coach, I was honestly surprised by how much I didn't know about what my own body was going through. That's when I knew I had to bridge that gap for others!

My Story

I  vividly remember the initial fear and uncertainty regarding recovery. The common advice, “just do what feels right,” felt inadequate and unhelpful. Entering the "postpartum haze" of new motherhood, I felt adrift, unsure how to structure workouts or what exercises were appropriate for my healing body. Frustration set in. I was immersed in the fitness world and yet, I felt completely lost. I couldn't help but think, "There must be so many women feeling this way, and it's unacceptable." This experience ignited a powerful desire to bridge that information gap.

In 2022, I became a NASM Certified Personal Trainer and a Certified Pregnancy and Postpartum Athleticism Coach, dedicated to empowering women through this transformative chapter. My aim is to provide informed, supportive guidance, acknowledging the unique physical and emotional challenges this season presents. I'm committed to being a partner in your journey, offering personalized strategies to navigate the complexities of fitness throughout motherhood.

My passion for nutrition began in college. My athletic background, spanning collegiate volleyball at Moorpark College, competitive CrossFit, and qualification for two National USA Olympic Weightlifting Meets, instilled a profound understanding of the body's demands. However, this journey was not without its challenges. I grappled with an unhealthy relationship with food, fueled by college insecurities and the pressures of weight cutting for weightlifting competitions.

Years of hormonal imbalances, exacerbated by prolonged birth control use, prompted me to seek a more holistic approach to well-being through nutrition. Over the past few years, I've embarked on a transformative journey, rediscovering the joy of food and cultivating a balanced approach to nutrition. I became a certified Nutrition Coach in 2022.

I've developed a deep appreciation for the power of fueling my body with the right nutrients to support my goals, while still allowing for the enjoyment of life's simple pleasures, including my favorite treats and a glass of wine. My main goal is to help clients build healthy habits, and create a better lifestyle. I am not in it for a quick fix.
